State Attorney General James Uthmeier has come up with a revamped and more subdued version of Amendment 3, the property tax overhaul that will go before voters this coming November. Uthmeier rewrote the ballot title and summary of the amendment after Circuit Court Judge David Frank ruled the version adopted by the state Legislature at the urging of Gov. Ron DeSantis contained political slogans and misled voters.
